THE POSSIBILITIES OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE FOR TEACHING FOREIGN LANGUAGES
Abstract
The integration of artificial intelligence (AI) in foreign language education presents transformative possibilities that enhance learning experiences and outcomes. This research explores various AI-driven tools and methodologies, such as intelligent tutoring systems, natural language processing applications, and adaptive learning platforms, which facilitate personalized instruction tailored to individual learner needs. By analyzing the effectiveness of AI in promoting language acquisition through interactive exercises, real-time feedback, and immersive environments, this study highlights the potential for increased engagement and motivation among learners. Furthermore, it examines the implications of AI on traditional teaching roles and pedagogical approaches, advocating for a collaborative model where educators leverage technology to enrich their teaching practices. Ultimately, this research aims to provide insights into how AI can revolutionize foreign language education by making it more accessible, efficient, and effective.
