Abstract

This research examines the classification of international programs initiated by China as an Asian country, focusing on statistical data from 2022 to 2024. In 2022, China launched over 1,200 international cooperation projects across various sectors, including education, technology, and infrastructure, with an estimated investment exceeding $50 billion. By 2023, the number of programs increased by approximately 15%, reflecting China’s strategic emphasis on enhancing regional connectivity and economic collaboration within Asia. Preliminary data for 2024 indicates a further growth trajectory, with projections suggesting that investments could reach upwards of $70 billion as China expands its Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) and other multilateral partnerships. Notably, participation from neighboring Asian countries has surged by 20% during this period, indicating a growing reliance on Chinese-led initiatives for development. This study aims to categorize these programs based on their objectives and impacts while analyzing the geopolitical implications of China’s increasing influence in Asia.
